Product Overview

NSS ACSS CASS Salt Fog Corrosion Test Cabinet for Metal Anti-corrosion Testing. This machine provides a standardized test method to check corrosion resistance of coated samples through accelerated corrosion testing.

Testing Method

Salt spray testing is an accelerated corrosion test that produces corrosive attack on coated samples to predict their suitability as protective finishes. The appearance of corrosion products (oxides) is evaluated after a period of time. Test duration depends on the corrosion resistance of the coating - more resistant coatings require longer testing periods before showing corrosion signs.
