Iec 60695 Needle Flame Combustion Tester
Description:
The flame test instrument is the simulated test item specified in IEC60695-2-2 1991 (second edition), GB5169 and the first amendment to IEC60695-2-2 (March 1994). The needle flame test apparatus uses a needle burner of specified size (Φ0.9mm) and a specific gas (butane or propane). It is directed at the test specimen at a 45° angle for combustion. The ignition hazard of small flames caused by internal fault conditions in the equipment is evaluated based on whether the specimen and the ignition cushion layer ignite, the duration of ignition, and the length of combustion.

Test operation steps:
1. Clamping of samples: clamp the samples according to the standard requirements and adjust the height of the samples mounted on the fixture.
2. Flame regulation: Press the "open gas" (automatic ignition) button to open the gas source, open the flowmeter valve, put the flame height indicator on the top of the combustion seat, adjust the flowmeter valve to achieve the standard flame height (12mm±1).
3. This machine is equipped with a flame intensity verification device. The method of use is as follows: First, place the thermocouple wire, which carries the temperature measurement copper block, directly above the needle. Then, press the 'Start Gas (Automatic Ignition)' button to start the temperature calibration. After pressing the button and the flame stabilizes, place the temperature probe over the burner's ignition point and simultaneously monitor the thermometer and timer. When the temperature reaches 100℃, the timer starts automatically. When the temperature reaches 700℃, the timer stops automatically. Check if the time on the timer is 23.5S±1.0S. (Standard requirement: 23.5S±1.0S).
4. Angle adjustment: Click on the screen to start (you need to click at the origin) automatically open to the bottom of the limit product to form a 45 degree.
5. Ignite the flame. Set the "fire supply time", adjust the position of the sample and burner.
Start the test. The burner will automatically move to the right and begin supplying heat to the sample once it is in position.
