The Steel Construction Fire Resistance Coating Test Furnace is designed according to standards ISO 834-1, GB 14907, and GB/T9978. This equipment specifies a test method for determining the fire resistance of various construction elements when subjected to standard fire exposure conditions. The test data obtained enables subsequent classification based on the duration for which the tested elements' performance satisfies specified criteria under these conditions.
The equipment operates based on the T--To = 345log(8t + 1) function curve, which represents the time-temperature control curve. This curve serves as the basis for setting temperature rise parameters. Both the setting values and thermocouple signals are sent to the amplifier for comparison. When the thermocouple temperature exceeds the setting value, the valve motor automatically shuts off, reducing flame temperature. When the thermocouple temperature falls below the setting value, the valve motor opens, increasing flame temperature. This ensures the flame at the thermocouple follows the pre-designed standard curve throughout the test. An automatic alarm signal is triggered when the backfire temperature reaches (140°C + ambient temperature) or the internal specimen temperature reaches (180°C + ambient temperature).
