The Carpet Flammability Tester is a dedicated laboratory instrument designed to evaluate the burning behaviour of textile floor coverings using the methenamine tablet method specified in ISO 6925. Test Principle

A standard methenamine tablet is ignited at the centre of a horizontally mounted carpet specimen inside a draught-free test chamber. The tester records the spread of flame across the specimen surface, allowing the burning characteristics of the material to be assessed under reproducible conditions.
