The BS 6307 / BS 4790 Carpet Flammability Tester is a dedicated hot metal nut test apparatus designed to evaluate the flammability performance of textile floor coverings. It determines the effect of a small ignition source on carpets and rugs by applying a heated metal nut to the specimen surface and measuring the resulting charred area and spread of flame.
