Fire Valve & Fire Hose Assembly Fire Resistance Tester with LabVIEW Control System

The Fire Resistance Valve, Hose & Pipe Tester is a dedicated combustion test facility for fire safety fittings. It performs fire resistance testing under internal pressure conditions in accordance with ISO 10497, ISO 19921 & 19922, and FTP II Res A 753.

The system comprises a test chamber, fume hood, exhaust duct, exhaust fan, two types of STS304 burners (section burner and multiple jet burner), a propane and air mass flow control unit, a water pressure boosting system, a water tank, a calorimeter cube, a K-type thermocouple set, and a DAQ data acquisition module.

Before testing, samples are fixed inside the chamber and pressurized to the specified working pressure. The burners generate a standardized flame to heat the samples. During combustion, temperature data at key positions is continuously collected by thermocouples and the DAQ module. After fire exposure, the system carries out a watertightness test. The entire test cycle is managed by LabVIEW control software with automatic data saving and report generation. The interchangeable burner design enables different standard test requirements to be met on the same chamber, and the adjustable burner bracket accommodates samples with different nominal diameters.

Fire safety component performance verification, standard fire resistance testing for valves, hose assemblies, and plastic pipes, as well as laboratory calibration and certification testing.

The warranty period is 12 months for the main frame, control system, and pump. Burners, thermocouples, and sealing parts are consumables and are not covered by warranty. We provide remote commissioning, operation training, and calibration guidance. Firmware and software upgrade services are available. All spare parts for this tester are supplied at factory price.
