Product Overview

The YYP-016 Paper Dust Tester is a dedicated inspection instrument for evaluating dust and impurity levels in paper and paperboard. It is specifically suited to quality control of food packaging materials — including food parchment, translucent paper, food wrap paper, and food board — in line with QS authentication requirements for paper packaging.

Working Principle

The instrument consists of a sturdy base, a rotary table, and a 20W fluorescent inspection lamp. The specimen is placed on its plastic board and illuminated by the 20W lamp. Under this illumination, fiber bundles and other impurities on the specimen surface become clearly distinguishable from the surrounding material. The observed results are then compared against a standard dust reference chart to complete the assessment.
